BASES integrates advanced analytical techniques to consumer survey data to consult and provide marketers with fast, accurate and cost-effective forecasts of sales for new products. Therefore, people who join the BASES team need both client relationship and analytical capabilities and experience. The Ideal Candidate Must Have: -Demonstrated success in leading project teams to achieve quantifiable results within a strategy framework-Strong project management skills-A track record in building client relationships-Knowledge in statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures desirable-Knowledge of marketing research and syndicated in-market data desirable The Ideal Candidate Must Be: -Analytical and consultative -Good with senior-level clients across their teams and organization, and have overall strong people management skills-Strong in oral and written communication skills-Results oriented-An influencer with the ability to keep things on course and to resolve conflicts-Intellectually aggressive and a quick learner-Able to build client accounts, and to add new clientsQualificationsEight years or more of experience in consulting, marketing research, marketing or related field. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated leader who can work in a highly-visible role across the client and within the broader Nielsen Company organization.Key Skills:- Results-oriented team player with good problem-solving, analytical and project-management and management skills.- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Client focus.- In-depth knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry, marketing research, in-market data and forecasting techniques.- Strong attention to detail.- Bachelor's degree or higher.
