Seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant in Long Beach to support our compliance and environmental health and safety practice. Duties will include a variety of work scopes such as compliance auditing, Equipment/Machine Safeguarding, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Emergency Preparedness, Ergonomics, Respiratory Protection and Confined Space. Other related duties may be assigned.QualificationsQualifications include Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety discipline or related field with 5 to 7 years of experience in the environmental health and safety industry. Must have previous regulatory compliance experience. Previous industry experience with railroads, petroleum or manufacturing clients is preferred. Candidate should also have excellent oral/written communication skills, time management skills, able to interact with client(s) and maintain long lasting relationships, be comfortable with equipment/machines and powered industrial vehiles to complete audits efficiently, and have a positive can do attitude.
