Position: Energy (includes Utilities and Oil and Gas) (Global) Senior Marketing ExecutiveLocation: Denver, Colorado or UKDescription: Market sector-focused and supporting service line (e.g. business transformation, IT) propositions on a global basis supported by the capabilities across all PA to help build sustained revenue from managed portfolio of accounts within the Energy sector. Work independently and with regional and sector teams to develop and implement business development and marketing initiatives across the industry. · Business Development: Plays an active role in identifying key sector clients, takes an active role in supporting account management – planning & attending account meetings (but not account administration), developing account plans and marketing plans for the account, supporting key proposals and major client presentations for key accounts – with guidance from Practice Leaders and relevant Marketing Manager. Supports the delivery of tailored and personalized marketing to specific clients and accounts.· Brand: Work alongside the Marketing Manager and Practice Leaders in building and promoting brand so to be seen as a leading consulting firm in sectors in key accounts.· Market Knowledge: Clearly understands the target industry, their requirements and trends and also PA’s ability to meet those needs. Communicates this to consultants and account teams on a global scale. · Sector Proposition development: Engages in conversation with the relevant Marketing Mangers and Practice Leaders to define and articulate differentiated sector and cross-practice ‘transformational’ propositions that support activity in key accounts and in the marketplace. Works directly with the consultants to produce proposition-specific supporting material such as thought leadership.· Sector-facing Marketing Campaigns and Measurement: Works with Marketing Managers and with other teams as appropriate to design, deliver and evaluate programs of marketing activities and campaigns surrounding focus propositions or industry themes. Campaigns should be focused on relevant propositions and penetration of key accounts. Responsibilities include: plan development, channel evaluation, budget, return on investment measurement, event management, web content, print and design production of collateral, conferences, speaking engagements. Measurement includes the development of BD and other metrics for each campaign and the active gathering and communicating of results. · Customer Data Management: Support the relevant teams / businesses to keep client data up to date for use in tailored marketing campaigns.· Internal Communication: Demonstrate the value of the key account approach in bridging the gap between practices and regions, and promoting sector-based experience. Act as a champion for this approach across the company. Education: Degree level or equivalent; recognized and/or accredited Marketing qualification or similiarExperience: · 5-8 years marketing experience ideally in professional services marketing within the utility, oil and gas or other relevant industry· Prior experience in deciphering complex requirements, creating a case for change, and executing successfully on implementation.· Prior experience of business development and account-based marketing activities· Experience in managing integrated campaigns including project management, use of multiple channels and results measurement· Understanding of effectiveness of various elements of the marketing mix to deliver improved client relationships and more effective business development· Experience of working in a matrix – ability to work in a team drawn from different parts of the company and sharing control. Comfortable with a global reporting structure where immediate supervisor is located outside the US. Comfortable working independently. · Experience in demonstrating results to management.
