The result is responsible executive remuneration plans that secure key talent, enhance business performance, and stand up to external scrutiny.  Within this context, we help our clients:Assess competitiveness of current pay and program features relative to the market and to the organization’s specific circumstances Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce strategic objectives Design financial performance measurement and target setting systems to support these incentive programs and to align the executives with the shareholders in the case of publicly traded companies Assess the implications of equity incentive programs, including financial cost and dilutive impact Establish/modify processes for corporate governance in light of best practice, shareholder concerns, etc. Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments and their implicationsResponsibilities of the PositionThis Senior Consultant will primarily work with tax-exempt organizations to help create responsible executive remuneration plans that secure key talent, enhance business performance, and stand up to external scrutiny.  Tax exempt organizations constitute a large and growing sector our business. While a large and diverse group, the organizations that dominate this space include health care, higher education, public charities, private foundations, scientific research, and associations. Responsibilities will include:Generating revenue through development of new client relationships, cross-selling to current clients and extension of current client engagements Structuring, directing, reviewing, and interpreting analyses performed by the project team Structuring and/or reviewing client deliverables Providing guidance to team members Providing consulting services to Compensation Committees and/or senior management on a variety of remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay and benefits,  performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications Providing consulting services on broader Human Capital issues Managing multiple projects simultaneously Building and maintaining strong client relationships Developing, evaluating, and mentoring less experienced colleaguesBA/BS degree required, legal background preferred with eight or more years of relevant work experience in executive remunerationExperience with healthcare sector, higher education institutions and foundations preferred Record of top academic and professional achievement Strong analytical, computer and communication skills Knowledge of base and incentive pay plans Diagnostic skills, specifically relating to performance management and reward programs Creative and proactive problem-solving skills Project management skills, specifically in a consulting environment Ability to work independently and in a team on multiple project.
