Financial Analyst Position(s)

FD Ashton Partners is a fast growing, strategic investor relations consulting firm providing investment community intelligence and positioning strategies to publicly traded companies. Our goal is to help CEO/CFOs of both new and old economy companies navigate the waters of the public financial markets. We need strategic thinkers that are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. Your responsibilities/opportunities will include:

· Be "the ears and eyes on the street" for our clients. Monitor and analyze daily industry news and stock performance of our clients.

· Analyze the buying and selling patterns of the nation's influential asset managers.

· Report creation for our clients by using Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.

· Weekly interaction with buy- and sell-side analysts.

· Spend 10% of your time on the phone communicating to portfolio managers and analysts.

· Position companies for strategic changes using both quantitative and qualitative analysis of market trends and future strategic initiatives.

· Analyze the risk/reward profile of these companies and identify the appeals or obstacles to owning the stock versus industry and investment peers.

· Assist in the development of a strategic plan for clients' overall investor relations programs.

Candidates must be interested and knowledgeable in financial markets, quantitative methods and financial analysis with excellent critical thinking, writing, speaking, and computer skills. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, aggressive, and looking for challenging, hands-on experience. Solid writing skills are an absolute must for this position and will be tested prior to hire.

Financial Analyst Level:  2-5 years of financial services, portfolio management, corporate finance or related experience. Current entry into the CFA program is a plus. The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.

Junior Financial Analyst Level:  0-2 years of experience.  The expected salary range for this position is $30,000 - $45,000 depending on experience.
