ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The HR Operations Manager is part of FTI’s dynamic global Technology practice. This position provides comprehensive HR support and leads change efforts within the practice. The ideal candidate will reside in either New York City, NY, Annapolis, MD or Washington, DC.
PRIMARY DUTIES:In conjunction with others, develop and implement a people plan for the practice that drives its key business objectives Design, develop, implement and manage HR programs in alignment with the people agenda and strategic business plans Consult with management on human resource matters and provide advice regarding employee issues Partner with other stakeholders across the company in the design and implementation of assigned programs Facilitate and manage organizational change Create and implement HR policies and processes within the practice to support business needs while ensuring consistency and compliance Manage and/or support key HR processes within the practice
SKILLS REQUIRED:Demonstrated experience leading program management efforts HR operations and process management experience Change management experience Foundational knowledge of Human Resources including the areas of Performance and Talent Management, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Diversity, and Organizational Development Excellent communication and consultative skills with the ability to influence others at all levels within the organization Team and customer focused, able to collaborate and partner with others to deliver results Demonstrated ability to identify and assess organizational issues and to develop and execute action plans to address gaps/concerns Strong business acumen, facilitation and conflict resolution skills Experience with the Microsoft suite of products (i.e., Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Visio
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:8+ years of human resources experience in a professional services or high technology company Bachelor’s degree PHR or SPHR certification a plus Must be comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to travel as required
