Health and Welfare Junior Consultant

We are Stone Partners, a medium-sized benefits consulting and adminstration firm, located in the Galleria area, and we are looking for an experienced candidate to join our H&W consulting team.

Qualifications of our ideal candidate include:Working knowledge of MS Excel and Access Experience in analyzing group insurance proposals and putting the information into a spreadsheet formatKnowledge of the Group Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance industry and products.Knowledge of the Group Medical, Dental, Vision and other group insurance industry products (specific understanding of self-funded financial arrangements)Experience in reviewing SPD’s and insurance company contracts and policies.Experience in working with larger more sophisticated clients on a routine basisStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of carrier claim payment processesBachelor's degree or higherLevel of industry experience should be 5 years at a minimum.
