Human Resource Manager

The Human Capital Manager is an integral part of Navigant Consulting's Human Capital Service Delivery team. The HC Manager will provide exceptional Human Capital services and support to all associates.  This position will be directly involved in, but not limited to: employee relations, performance management, compensation, and the implementation of Human Capital programs and policies.  The right individual will participate in ground level decision/policy making and be involved in a variety of Human Resources projects to enact meaningful change.  The position offers excellent visibility and career opportunity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE:Directly manage, implement and support the following activities:  Â§ Employee Relations§ Performance Management guidance and coaching§ Compensation review§ Subject matter expertise on California and federal employment law as well as Navigant Consulting’s policies, procedures, benefits§ Exit interview process§ Develop, implement and follow up Human Capital initiatives, programs, processes and policies  POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and work-related experience At least 5 years experience as an HR Generalist, with emphasis on employee relationsPHR or SPHR preferredProfessional services background a plus Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills with all levels Problem solving abilityProfessional demeanor and approachAbility to travel 20-40% of work week  This position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an employee assigned to this position.
