Our 60 year old international consulting company is seeking sales professionals for business development of Fortune 500 companies at the Chief Executive level.  Our Business Development Coordinators are responsible for researching client prospects, cold calling to prospective clients at the CEO level (C-Suite), providing detailed and accurate information to their respective Account Executives, maintaining the account executives' meeting schedule, and updating and maintaining the sales database for the assigned portfolio.

 

As a Business Development Coordinator with Proudfoot Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with some of today's most talented professionals and have the chance to assist them in solving their most pressing business issues.  Candidates with a background in direct sales such as Financial or Mortgage Advisors have had great success with our organization in this capacity.

 

  In order to qualify, you should:

 

-  Have a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or experience working in the consulting industry

-  Be able to demonstrate your business acumen through researching your targeted clients and their business needs

-  Have three to four years' experience in direct telephone sales, cold calls to C Suite executives (experience in direct telephone sales of consulting services is preferred)

-  Be results oriented, persistent, persuasive and effective at building rapport with individuals through the use of the telephone

-  Have a demonstrated success in direct telephone sales

-  Be IT literate (i.e. spreadsheet, database management, word processing)

-  Capable of effective internet research and have the ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, annual reports, etc.

This is a results oriented position and for your efforts you will receive a competitive base salary and a bonus compensation plan that can lead to a six figure income.  The position also offers a competitive benefits package with 401(k) plan and employer match.
