Manager - Consulting Services - New York

 

Managers work with clients to identify requirements, and design, develop, and implement cost-effective solutions that meet business objectives. Managers scope out projects, manage resources and timeline, control costs, deliver engagements on schedule and manage client expectations.

 

Engagements vary and may include corporate and business level strategy, business model development and improvement, operational strategy, supply chain analysis and management, and post-merger integration. All projects are focused on providing clients with a superior return on investment.


 

Successful Managers possess outstanding intellectual ability, strong analytical skills, leadership and initiative, creativity, maturity, judgment, effective written and oral presentation skills, proven ability to work within a collaborative team environment, professional integrity, and a relentless commitment to client satisfaction.

 

This position is for employment, not contract work. It based in New York  City with clients in New Jersey. We are a locally-based consulting firm and will not provide relocation services.  We are seeking candidates who reside in the New York metro area and who can commute to clients in New York City or New Jersey daily.

Additionally, we are seeking candidates with: 6+ years professional experience A minimum of 3 years recent experience working for a recognized mid-sized to large (preferably Big 5 or similar) consulting firm, with a strong preference for at least one year experience performing at the manager level. (We will consider very experienced senior consultants who have been performing as managers.) Experience consulting in at least two of the following three areas: Providing services such as program management, process redesign, cost reduction strategies, operations improvement, business case development, and change management (communication strategy, facilitation, organizational alignment, etc.) to large clients IT Advisory services - IT Strategy, ITIL, IT Organizational Alignment, IT process improvement Providing consulting services in the above areas to clients in any the following industries: Telecommunications, Media, Consumer Goods or Retail Experience driving business requirements, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing solutions. Demonstrated ability to accurately scope work to be accomplished. Experience managing people, costs and schedule and mitigating project risk. Master's or Bachelor's degree Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
