Managing Consultant - Business Process Management
Project Leadership Associates is currently recruiting a Managing Consultant with Business Process Management, Industrial/Consumer Products and Distribution/Logistics industry experience.
Leads or assists in business process management engagements, as a subject matter expert, reporting to and assisting the Practice Director
Provides professional, specialized skills, including products/logistics industry business process management, project management and problem analysis and resolution; leads and/or assists in project assignments focusing on business focused planning as well as technical engagements.
Responsibilites include:
• Provide direction and advice to clients as a business process management and products/logistics industry subject matter expert
• Assist PLA's internal teams as subject matter expert and coordination point for client projects
• Assist clients in developing products/logisitcs industry business process improvement plans
• Facilitate and develop business function process improvement plans at products/logisitics clients and assist them with:
-Assessment of potential business impact
-Definition of critical, time-sensitive functions
-Design, development, and documentation of functional business improvement plans
• Understand all business functions within a products and logistics business; comfortable working with all levels of management
• Provide project and program management on both business and technology focused business process management/improvement projects
• Manage client accounts
• Assist in the development and prospecting of client accounts, including developing sales presentations, proposals, developing marketing materials and assisting in the sales close process
Qualifications include:
• 10 years minimum experience providing consulting professional services to clients in industrial/consumer products and logistics industry companies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Strong verbal communications; must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in remote locations
• Demonstratable written communications with experience in technical writing, procedure creation and other documentation
• Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
