Marketing/Admin Assistant
SALES AND MARKETING/ADMIN ASSISTANT needed for FAI Construction Consultants’ (“FAICC”) office in New York City
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales and Marketing/Administrative Assistant provides marketing and administrative support to FAICC. As a small consulting firm, we anticipate the administrative side of this position will require 25-30% of the week and the marketing 70-75%.
The marketing responsibilities are all inclusive, to include literature preparation, proposal drafting and preparation, contact management, appointments, conference scheduling and attendance and web site maintenance. This will be the area that you can have the most impact on company success and can expand with your current and future capabilities.
The administrative side involves filing, word processing, answering telephones, supply ordering, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research new market opportunities.
2. Aid in the creation of email and e-newsletters as well as launching those promotions
3. Provide reports to management on marketing activities
4. Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: word processing, photocopying, faxing, mailing, telephone answering, and filing. Identify opportunities for FAICC to submit proposals. Prepare and submit proposals.Setup and coordinate meetings. Support staff in assigned project based work, including but not limited to: researching and providing suggestions of target promotion, and coordination of development of marketing pieces for print, email, etc.In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required.
MINIMUM ABILITY, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSExperience in marketing software.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and clients. Good analytical and time-management skills. Strong planning and organization skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure. Must be a pro active, self-starter with a 'can do' attitude.
EDUCATION/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
