In this role as a Fitting Consultant (Sales Associate), you will be responsible for the following:

* Greet customers in a timely, professional and personable manner

* Qualify customer need, provide product information and close sale

* Use product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers and build your sales         

* Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new     merchandise, and update them on the latest products and/or offerings

* Perform merchandising tasks, such as stock, re-merchandising, display, pricing, and custom orders

* Maintain the appearance of the selling floor and stock area

* Ability to learn and operate a POS terminal

* This position directly reports to the Store Manager/Owner

 

This position will require you to be career oriented, a self starter, highly motivated, customer service driven, and possess strong listening skills. You will also possess strong follow-up skills, be goal driven and have a positive attitude. You will be a good problem solver, and have a strong attention to detail. You will have conceptual thinking and be motivated. You will be available to work varied hours and days as business dictates. You must be able to portray a professional image.

 

You will have a minimum of 3+ years of face to face sales experience. You will have a demonstrated proficiency in Computer knowledge. A minimum HS Diploma or GED is required, Bachelors is preferred.  Our ideal candidate will also have a minimum of 1 years experience in Pedorthics/Cpeds, retail sales or a background in Health Management is highly preferred.

 

Additional Information:

HOURS OF WORK REQUIRED: 9:30am to 6:00 pm

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT / WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to be flexible in working extended schedules, including some weekends.

Ability to comfortably move and lift merchandise in store up to 30lbs.
