Purpose of Position:

Hitachi Consulting's National Supply Chain practice is currently experiencing significant growth and we are actively recruiting strategic thinking, entrepreneurial, and energetic candidates to perform as proven leaders in the markets we serve.


This Manager position will play a role in delivering projects around sales and operations planning with focus on Oracle Demantra. Responsibilities will include project planning and execution, sales/marketing, and serving as a knowledge source in the core Hitachi Consulting Supply Chain disciplines.

Skills and Experience:Four year college degreeMinimum 3-5 years experience in professional services (prior major consultancy experience  preferred) with a mix of functional and technical competenciesExperience in project management and/or general managementBusiness process analysis and redesign - strong business analysis skills; business process redesign and implementation is preferred. Strategy - strategic planning; facilitation; enterprise performance management (balanced scorecard); business case development or IT assessment/strategy preferred Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management support, technical integration design

 Functional experience in: Demand Planning/Forecasting Sales and Operations Planning Inventory Planning / Replenishment PlanningGeneral Supply Chain Management strategyProduct Lifecycle Management / New Product Introduction

 

Technical Skills needed: Oracle – DemantraMust have gone through at least one Demantra implementation Must be capable of writing PL/SQL scripts Familiar with Oracle database
