THE OPPORTUNITY:
Oracle HCM Functional Consultants are responsible for the successful delivery of implementations, upgrades, and assessments related to Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS applications. Candidates applying for this position must have a successful track record of working with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS applications like core HR, iRecruitment, Advanced Benefits, Performance Management, Compensation Workbench, Payroll, Time and Labor, Labor Distribution, and Self-Service HR with prior related business experience. You will work with our clients, and will be responsible for conducting business process understanding sessions, configuration, integration testing, training, problem solving, troubleshooting and documentation. You will develop and/or implement standard tools from our methodology and champion the use of consistent processes and tools for all projects. You will be a part of an outstanding HCM consulting practice comprised of heavily experienced, and extremely talented consultants, and will consistently contribute toward the growth and development of the practice. You would take lead roles in your projects, assist in the development of junior staff, provide sales support, and recruitment assistance as needed.
PERFORMANCE PROFILE:Must have a thorough understanding of implementation methodologiesBe detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work well with clients, and lead discussionsMap business requirements to Oracle application functionality, identify functionality gaps, and develop work around solutions for themConfigure Oracle Applications and document application setupsWrite functional specifications for any technical items – reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions, and interact with the project team members responsible for technical developmentDefine testing scenarios, develop integration test scripts, and support client counterparts with execution of test scriptsDevelop super user, and end user documentation, and training materials as identified by the project needDelivery of super user and end user trainingResolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving management as appropriate Successfully manage relationships with clients and colleagues Recognize and act upon potential business opportunities Demonstrate effective project leadership skills Proactively coach and develop others Regularly contribute to presales efforts as required Identify, assess, and mitigate relevant risks during bid development and project execution Participate in the development of Solbourne Intellectual Capital by contributing to Solbourne internal library, submitting papers to reputed Oracle conferences like Oracle Human Resource Users Group (OHUG) conference, Oracle Application Users Group (OAUG) conference, and OpenWorld conference, updating user documentation, and by delivering training, either internally or externally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors Degree in related field preferred; Masters degree desiredMinumum 4 years of consulting experience or other relevant experience specifically related to HR Business Processes, Organizational Business Assessments and Implementations which includes: business process flow, configuration, testing, training and problem solving 3-5 years of Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS application experience, minimum version 11i, which includes Core HR, Performance Management, iRecruitment, Compensation Workbench, Standard Benefits, Advanced Benefits, Self-Service HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Learning Management and Labor Distribution Ability to develop educational materials focused on adult learning theory is critical Ability and willingness to travel 80-100%
