Organization Change Consultant
SiloSmashers, a rapidly-growing management and technology consulting services firm, is looking for an experienced Organization Change Management Consultant to join our team.
This position requires an energetic mid-level organization change management/organization development (OCM/OD) consultant who can work as a team member with clients as part of a large systems implementation effort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develops and executes the organization change strategy and plan supporting a large scale systems implementation project at a client site. Carries out aspects of the project s organization change strategy and plan, including, but not limited to the following: Leadership alignment, including facilitating leadership to develop the change strategy and case for change Stakeholder engagement, including stakeholder identification and communicationsLearning strategy and coordination of training deliveryOrganization transition including assessing the impact of the systems implementation and related process changes on various organization units and development of associated transition plans Workforce transition including oversight of workforce transition activitiesSupport development of good project management practices, including project governance and clear roles and responsibilitiesProvide change manage support to other teams of the project on an as-needed basis
Supervision: Serves as the primary onsite organization change consultant on the project. Receives direction from the onsite project manager and technical support or leadership from onsite or remote senior organization change consultant, as required. Receives supervision from the Vice President of Business Transformation.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Experience required in a change management capacity in a large systems implementation, or business transformation or organization change effortEducation and experience consisting of one of the following: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior/Organizational Development, Business, or other related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience, a portion of which has included a role in significant organization changes
Relevant work experience includes: Facilitating small group sessions involving planning, problem solving and issues resolutionAnalyzing organization attributes, stakeholders, SWOT, and identification of enablers and barriersDeveloping communications plans Organization data gathering, analysis and reporting; familiarity with organization assessments including change readinessDesired work experience includes:Developing and conducting relevant learning programs, and preparing associated materials related to organization transformationsSurvey design, development, administration, analysis and reporting Business process analysis and process improvementFamiliarity with performance improvement strategies, tools, techniques and measurement Familiarity with organization design, workforce development, human resource management
