Product Manager

 

Scope

Take a leadership role in our fast-growing industry and define a best-of-breed product management function to help take our industry-leading technology to the next level. This senior level position is responsible for the interface between the market, customers, and R&D. The product manager reports directly to the President and will work closely with our CTO, VP R&D, sales management and the CEO.

 

Responsibilities

 Identify market and customer needs and opportunities and align with R&D prioritiesIdentify and qualify potential technology partners and suppliersDefine functional requirements and development prioritiesCreate and maintain all product information and white papersMonitor and review competitive offerings and positioningDefine product pricing, packaging and bundling features

 

Experience

We are seeking a highly experienced software product manager with direct experience developing, implementing and managing a sophisticated product management function in a related industry.  We require a marketing-oriented, innovative, broad-minded person with a sophisticated understanding of technology who is a quick study and follows market & technology trends avidly.  Plus:

 Direct experience working with marketing and/or media technologies, including A/V technologiesExcellent technology background (prior IT/development capabilities)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent analytical capabilities and business savvyStrong understanding of our industry and the retail marketKnowledge of product design and architecturePast experience in networking and security, and in providing service/support is an advantageExperience working internationally will be a significant advantage
