Quality Ace Manager

Sensitech Inc., a business unit of Carrier Refrigeration, is the leading provider of cold chain visibility solutions that enable our customers, global leaders in food and pharamaceuticals, to track and monitor assets across the supply chain protecting the quality, efficacy, and integrity of their temperature sensitive products. Located in Beverly, MA, the Quality Ace Manager is responsible for Drive continuous improvement throughout Sensitech Inc. through the application of ACE tools and strategies and lean techniques. Overall responsibilities include developing processes, leading continuous improvement events, activities and focusing on product and services, eliminating waste and reducing cost.

Principal responsibilities include:
•Perform under the general direction of the Director of Quality Assurance in accordance with standard ACE practices and ISO regulations
•Develop lean manufacturing initiatiives within Sensitech working closely with Operations and Professional Services to reduce WIP, shorten cycle time, and reduce cost and expenses.
•Led Kaizen events within various departments with Sensitech and satellite offices
•Mistake proof processes where applicable
•Participate in the ISO internal audit program working with internal auditors in documenting & reporting non-conformance(s).
•Develop and execute ACE Plans supporting the achievement of ACE targets
•Assist in training/coaching ACE competencies
•Conduct special projects as required

Education :
•Bachelors in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field
•Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in Operations, Quality and continuous improvement roles

Experience/Qualifications :
•Experience with ACE, Lean Manufacturing, and/or other continuous improvements tools
•Experience with Lean initiatives and Lean Metrics
•Ability to foster change
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across a number of disciplines and nationalities in a professional and effective manner
•Fluency in speaking, understanding, writing and reading English
•Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
