Region Corporate SalesTrainer
Responsible for the field delivery of Training Programs to all levels of United Rentals employees within the assigned Region. The Regional Trainer will be responsible for facilitating training in a variety of venues, including classroom, WebEx, and others as necessary. Programs will include job-specific technical training, soft skills, and other trainings based on the needs of the Region and Company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (1)Training Delivery/Training Initiatives (a)Deliver both custom and off the shelf training programs to all levels of United Rentals employees within the respective Region (b)Work with corporate Training staff, Sr. HRM, and various Subject Matter Experts as necessary to create training content (c)Deliver Training Programs in support of Region and Company initiatives such as, but not limited to: Sales Playbook, Rates, Rental Flow, Risk and Safety Programs in coordination with Risk Department, Ongoing New Hire Orientation Program, HR topics/skills for Managers, Others as needed. (d)Work with Corporate Human Resources Manager of Training to determine appropriate delivery methodology for content—including classroom, web based, video and WebEx (e)Development of training programs and program support materials including participant guides, leader guides (f)Participate on project teams and work with the Senior Human Resources Manager and Corporate training team identify organizational training needs (g)Communicate with Corporate Training to ensure a consistent Regional approach to Training (h)Source, select, and manage vendors as necessary, using. (2)Training Assessment (a)Oversees tracking and reporting of Regional training programs (b)Conduct evaluation of all programs using class surveys and maintain a record of evaluation results; measure training against branch/Region financial performance, whenever possible (c)Consults with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters.
1)Bachelor Degree in a related field required. (2)4-6 years sales training experience in a business setting. (3)Solid sales training skills. (4)Project Management experience, preferably in a training environment. (5)Knowledge and ability to deliver training in multiple media including live classroom training, WebEx, and eLearning. (6)Other Skills Required: (a)Superior public speaking and communication skills (b)Must be a strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities (c)Strong knowledge of the theories, concepts, and standards applicable to adult learning (d)Excellent PC skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, & Project (e)Excellent oral and written communication skills.
