Job Description Regional Sales Manager - Trace Chemical Analysis The scope of this position is to manage, control and assure profitability of the Trace Chemical Analysis team’s operations within a designated geographical area. This includes the direct supervision, development and training of the direct field sales representatives within the region, as well as responsibility for problem account management, coordination, order bookings, expenses and customer satisfaction. Specifically, the person in this position will manage and direct the activities of relevant sales engineers; ensure that customer satisfaction objectives are met and exceeded; and meet and exceed the order booking targets. The RSM will also establish and implement an annual regional business plan and lead or participate in teams responsible for improving processes and/or business performance. Other miscellaneous duties will be assigned.We require a bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, business or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years previous experience in sales and 3 years previous experience in sales management. Applicants must have experience with any of the following: AA, ICP, ICP-MS, HPLC, Single Quad LC/MS, GC, GC/MS and UV-Vis instrumentation. We are looking for demonstrated leaders who have the ability to motivate teams, perform consistently under pressure and resolve conflict. Candidates must be willing to travel 50% on an annual basis.
