Description:Eaton Corporation located in Galesburg, MI has an opening for Remanufacture Business Unit Manager.The Remanufacture Business Unit Manager (RBU) is responsible for leading and managing the Remanufacture business unit to achieve aggressive growth while also maintaining existing product and customer business and positioning. This position is also responsible for directing and coordinating all operational and business activities to meet customer requirements and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and strategic goals for RBU which impacts the overall Aftermarket Division. The RBU Managers primary responsibilities are to develop specific strategies to position the business for significant profitable growth; lead the marketing, manufacturing and selling of remanufactured based products; and continue to build a high performance culture to meets sales growth and profitability objectives. In addition, the RBU will be expected to:A Establish, develop and execute the remanufacturing business and strategic plan that support overall Truck Group goals. Lead the effort to provide market data and related performance metrics and tools to demonstrate the value, impact, quality and benefits of the Aftermarket Divisions products and services. Coordinate with other Eaton divisions in the development of these tools.B Continually monitor and update metrics and tools based upon market changes. Communicate with the product divisions on issues such as market status and recommended strategies to address competitive threats and other market related challenges.C Formulate a framework for analyzing competitive strategies and understand how industry structure impacts strategic leverage.D Explore competitive strategies and methods of analyzing competitors intentions, differential advantages, strengths, and weaknesses.E Understand the various approaches to market segmentation, targeting, and positioning for competitive advantage. F Use analytical methods in customer measurement. No phone calls or 3rd party vendors please.269Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess the following:A Successful development and execution of long- and short-term strategies that led to accelerated revenue growth in an industrial business. This was accomplished through analysis, market segmentation, prioritization of various products, alliances, and acquisition targets, and use of best practice tools to gain a deeper understanding of the value propositions of both existing and new market and customers. Proven ability to implement/execute strategic business opportunities across broad cross-functional teams.B Commercial industrial background is preferred with demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic marketing programs. C Prior experience should include manufacturing/operations experience in a leadership capacity D Proven track record of building organizational capability and talent through effective recruiting, training, coaching, development and optimizing organizational structure. E Senior management level communication and presentation skills.F Familiarity with Eaton business tools including EBS, Value Selling and PROLaunchG Direct international experience is highly preferred. H A bachelors degree (technical would be a plus) and an MBA or advanced degree, both from a recognized institution.
