Business Intelligence Background

Axon has a global Business Intelligence Capability of more than 85 consultants spanning a broad range of implementation and support experience in both SAP and non-SAP Business Intelligence technologies.

Axon has been delivering mySAP Business Intelligence solutions since the launch of the original SAP Business Information Warehouse product. We delivered the UK*s first BW project, Europe*s first SEM project and have remained at the forefront of both technical implementation and performance measurement system design and deployment.

Business Intelligence in the US

Working for Axon, candidates will have the opportunity to become part of Axon*s Global Business Intelligence community where *Best Practice* Methodologies are constantly defined, challenged and updated, and the latest functionality from SAP is assessed and implemented to better serve the needs of our clients. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on the latest BI 7.0 functionality, including *Integrated Planning*, *Visual Composer* and the *BI Accelerator* on client projects across that span multiple industry verticals.

Working for Axon, candidates will enter into a structured development process designed to provide clear guidance and opportunities for individual growth and learning in a variety of skills practiced across Business Intelligence.

Key Objectives:

· Analysis of business requirements

· Design and implementation of full solutions

· Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues

· Coach and develop skills within a project team

· Work effectively in mixed Client and Consultancy teams

Competencies:

· Knowledge/Experience Required (Essential/Desirable)

· Minimum of 3 years SAP BW/SEM implementation experience

· Minimum of 1 year recent BW/SEM consulting/contracting experience

· Minimum of 2 full BW/SEM project lifecycles

· Experience of gathering user requirements, mapping against delivered SAP content, and translating into a coherent design document

· Experience of working as part of a BW/SEM project team

· Detailed knowledge of data modeling within BW/SEM

· High-level knowledge of BW/SEM performance tuning techniques

· Good *high-level* functional knowledge of mySAP ERP modules e.g. Financials, Logistics and Human Resources

· BW/SEM team lead/management experience

· High-Level understanding of the mySAP ERP data model

· Language skills or project experience outside the US

· Understanding of Performance Management

· SEM-BCS implementation experience

· BEx Web and the implementation of Business¤ Intelligence through Enterprise Portal
