SAP Director
Required skills: SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, 4.6c, 4.7, R/3, full cycle implementation, business development
Purpose of Position:
Hitachi Consulting's San Francisco Bay Area practice is currently experiencing significant growth and we are actively recruiting strategic thinking, entrepreneurial, and energetic candidates to perform as proven leaders in our Market Location. This individual(s) will have sales, management, and delivery responsibility for large, complex client engagements and will focus primarily on Bay Area hi-tech industry companies.
Responsibilities will include
· Account Management
- Responsibility for major accounts with multiple large engagements
- Management of engagement risk and profitability and client expectations
- Development of and execution against plans and budgets for projects
- Definition of deliverable content
· Business Development
- Responsibility for developing specific target accounts, identifying consulting opportunities, developing proposals and closing deals
- Manage and maintain local SAP partner relationship
- Development and maintenance of relationships at all levels in client organization
- Development of account plans and leadership of pursuit teams
· Intellectual Property Development
· Market Location Leadership
- Development and maintenance of a profitable team of managers and consultants
- Provider of career guidance for managers and consultants
- Participation in recruitment and engagement staffing
We are seeking individuals with the following skills and experience:
· Four year college degree required
· 10-12+ years experience in professional services (prior major consultancy experience preferred) with a mix of functional and technical competencies
· Proven experience in selling and managing multiple, large ($1M+) SAP FI/CO system implementations or upgrades -- interact with CIOs and Sr. IT and Business leadership within a fast-paced, high-tech environment
· Industry experience with high-tech, multi-distribution companies a must.
· Ability to build vision, understand and define requirements, design practical solutions, develop supporting business cases and implement solutions for clients
· Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written), analytical and problem-solving skills
· Possesses the qualities and characteristics that support development of junior team members to grow a practice.
· Potential possibility of travel up to 100%, but ideally client work is in the Bay Area
· Local candidates preferred
Technical Skills needed: Experience with technology in one or more of the following areas:
Experience in assessing, selecting and implementing various modules of SAP FI/CO, MM, SD
Experience in scoping, estimating SAP 11i upgrades, developing resource plans for staffing and executing projects that manages client expectations and project risks
