The Position

The role of the Sales Lead Generator has 5 primary components consisting of (1) Organizational Mapping – Research how decisions are made within our customer organizations; (2) Need Identification – Identify present and future pain points within our customer organizations in which our value proposition fits, (3) Decision maker identification – Identify who is responsible for making buying decisions; and (4) Lead Generation – Provide qualified prospects to our world class operational team for presentations, (5) Relentless follow through – over communicating with our customers so Organic People is always “top of mind” when they are in the buying window.

At Organic People, success in this role will be measured against performance in the following areas:

*Monthly KPI reviews (key metrics include, but not limited to, number of contacts made, discovery calls scheduled, proposals generated, contracts signed,etc.)

*Account mapping (how many markets is each company divided into, who are the key DMs in each market, etc.)

*Creative “ins” (what is the plan for strategically breaking into a new account/ division of a current account?)

*Positive leadership team contributions & company-wide contributions

*Maintain positive & favorable internal and external relationships (strategic partners, potential customers, suppliers, etc.)

*Other accountabilities, as assigned.



Qualifications

At Organic People, your values, abilities, and track record of success are more important than direct experience. That being said, an ideal candidate would have the following:

*Agree with the values of honesty, achieving balance and continuous growth

*Strong competencies in intellect (the ability to learn, understand, and innovate), personal skills (integrity, candor, excellence, etc.), and interpersonal skills (oral and written communication, customer service, etc.)

*Experience using/ creating effective tracking/ follow up systems.

*Ability to identify multiple lead sources Driven to “solve the puzzle” of finding opportunities even if the traditional methods don’t work.

*Successful track record of finding great clients and delighting them.

*Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

*Proven ability to multitask and follow-through.

*Excellent proficiency in using Act (or similar CRM software) and Microsoft Office Suite.

*Experience and knowledge of Cable or Telecommunications a plus.
