Sales & Marketing Coordinator

The Winvale Group, a leading professional services firm specializing in government contracts and the GSA Schedule program, is excited to announce an opening for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator in our Washington, DC location.  The position provides a tremendous opportunity to grow professionally and have a significant impact in the overall direction of the company.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a major role in the success of the Sales department and firm’s overall marketing efforts.  Responsibilities include supporting the day-to-day operations and activities of the Sales team and managing external marketing communications.  Candidates should have experience supporting and managing a sales department, along with a working knowledge of public relations and marketing practices.

Core Responsibilities include:
• Managing sales leads/prospects, setting appointments, organizing calendars, updating contact database, responding to in-bound sales leads, preparing proposals/sales collateral;
• Maintaining a strong communication level with clients and other company departments.
• Marketing and public relations opportunities including trade shows, speaking engagements, advertisements, and news placements;
• Maintaining and updating corporate website, marketing materials, press releases and corporate newsletter;

Successful candidates should possess:
• Working knowledge of the sales cycle with an astute ability to predict department needs;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high degree of attention to detail;
• Results-driven work ethic with the ability to exercise initiative and leadership within department;
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills while adhering to deadlines;
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office, graphic programs, ACT! or other CRM system; 
• Bachelor’s degree with at least two (2) years of relevant marketing and sales support experience
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization techniques is a major plus;
