Sales& Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

Manages the marketing and sales activities of an industrial electrical supply company, with a unique competitive advantage, located in Jackson, Mississippi.

Duties:Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.Delivers sales presentations to key clients individually as well as with sales representatives.Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.Directs the creation, execution and management of all marketing activities such as direct mail campaigns.Develops and implements training program for outside sales staff.Works closely with each of our major franchised manufacturers to develop sales plans for their respective products, thereby improving relationships with those manufacturers.Develops product promotions with customers.Conducts training seminars for customers.Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
