Senior Consultant - Regulatory & Capital Markets Consulting - Operations & Technology Deloitte and Touche LLP is currently seeking qualified professionals for the role of Senior Consultant in the Energy & Resources Practice focusing on Energy Transacting and Risk Management (ETRM) applications. Your experience as an IT applications specialist, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Business User of an ETRM application is key to building our practice. General knowledge of ETRM applications is required and particular knowledge of technology provided by SolArc, Triple Point, Open Link, or Trade Capture is desirable.   As a part of  Deloitte & Touche LLP's ("Deloitte & Touche's") Audit and Enterprise Risk Services (AERS), the Energy & Resources practice will give you the opportunity to apply your skills to help our clients address their most complex challenges. In addition to working with ETRM applications you'll be working with a team of seasoned energy professionals to define risk strategies, design and improve risk management systems, and streamline processes enabling clients to monitor and balance control objectives with business goals and acceptable risks.   AERS provides specialized risk accounting analysis and support, and helps develop and implement enterprise-wide, quantitative approaches to managing market, operational and credit risk.  Services include: ·         Risk Advisory ·         Risk Strategy ·         Credit Risk ·         Quantitative Services ·         Treasury Risk Services ·         Risk Technology & Operations ·         Risk Assurance and Accounting   Operating from offices in Calgary, Toronto, Houston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, our people not only gain exposure to multiple clients but have numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. Due to continued demand for our professionals, we are currently looking to expand our team of ETRM application specialists.     Demonstrated Abilities: - Knowledge and involvement in ETRM system implementations - Substantive role in client relationship and communication - Substantive role in developing quality deliverables including system requirements, system design, technical reports and statements of work - Strong industry knowledge and/or functional specialty, specifically as it relates to gas, power, coal or oil energy transacting and risk management. - Evaluation and provision of feedback on performance of others - Substantive role in enhancing relationships with internal resources 3 years experience with implementation or support of commercially available ETRM applications. (SolArc, TradeCapture, Open Link or TriplePoint). Experience with MS Project or Primavera. Experience with testing commercially available ETRM applications (system test, integrating test, user acceptance test). Strong oral and written communication skills Project management experience implementing ETRM applications (projects from 9 - 18 months duration). Ability to work with and/or manager vendors Degree in Information Technology, Business or Engineering strongly preferred. Ability and willingness to travel and work within the U.S. and Canada (Position requires considerable North American travel).
