Senior Design Specialist

Overview:
• Determine the capability of current product offers using business process analysis, process modeling and functional gap analysis.
• Develop and validate detailed configuration design, including data hierarchy design, data capture forms design, and workflow modeling in context with global accounting and order fulfillment processing.
• Design and document custom software to support functional requirements using data modeling, prototype development, database schema definition, process flow diagramming and test plan design.
• Provide technical and functional product support, including customer technical education and training, troubleshooting functional configuration relationships and database impacts.
• Design, and develop application integration with Global Distribution Systems for travel and expense management software.

Responsibilities:
• Five years of progressively responsible experience working in information technology as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Substantial experience using business process analysis, process modeling and functional gap analysis.
• Substantial experience developing and validating detailed configuration design, including data hierarchy design, data capture forms design, workflow modeling and global accounting systems integration.
• Substantial experience designing and documenting custom software to support functional requirements using data modeling, prototype development, database schema definition, process flow diagramming, and quality test plan design.
• Experience providing technical and functional product support, including customer technical education and training, troubleshooting functional configuration relationships and database impacts.
• Experience designing and developing application integration with Global Distribution Systems in the travel and/or expense management industries.

Qualifications:
• BS in CompSci or an Engineering discipline.

• MUST HAVE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

• Location: Chicago Illinois.
