Senior Proposal Manager

AOC Applied Technologies - Senior Proposal Manager - Chantilly, VA

AOC Applied Technologies is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager in our Chantilly, VA office. Candidate will be responsible for managing/facilitating proposal development. Take cradle-to-grave ownership and command of proposal development and related support processes, including down-select questions, written proposals, oral presentations, Best and Final Offers (BAFOs), Evaluation Notices (ENs), Final Proposal Revisions (FPR), etc.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Manages proposal workload and supports the development, research, design, and revision of proposals. 2. Analyzes RFP requirements, and develops proposal cross-reference matrix and technical proposal templates, calendars, and plans. 3. Follows government/customer specifications and company policies and industry best practices. 4. Coordinates with co-workers, line personnel, and/or subcontractors to collect, validate, and verify data required for technical proposal development. 5. Identifies, researches, collects, and rewrites information for the preparation of technical proposals including corporate information, past performance/experience, personnel and staffing, and other proposal components. 6. Supports company proposal tools and initiatives; 7. Provides senior level proposal support and guidance on other active bids and, 8. Participates in special projects and other assignments as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience required. Master's is preferred. 10+ years of Proposal Management experience required in the Federal, State, and/or Local Government Market. Must be knowledgeable of the federal proposal process.Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of proposal development, including technical research, writing, and editing. Familiarity with company's products, services, and customer base. Ability to understand and convey technical concepts. Demonstrated effective communications skills. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Customer-oriented, solutions-based attitude.Technically proficient in BD and proposal development collaborative tools and processes. Working  knowledge of best practices with respect to proposal development processes, methodologies and corporate discipline, ensuring that AOC Applied Technologies positions itself to win major programs on a consistent basis.
