The Security and Privacy Division synthesizes its capabilities in security architecture, compliance, and certification and accreditation with best-of-breed tools to provide effective security solutions to customers in the public and private sectors. This division consists of practices in Secure Enterprise Solutions, Governance and Oversight, Security Operations and Validation and Verification.



 

Job Description:

The Senior Technical Writer for the Security & Privacy Division shall be knowledgeable and skilled in technical documentation and presentation techniques, to include but not limited to technical writing, proofreading, and technical editing.  He or she shall coordinate the activities such as writing, editing, and interfacing with Government and contractor staff in pursuit of content requirements and sources of information.  They will have excellent command and articulation of the English language and superior grammatical skills and ability to use automated editing and publishing tools.  This individual shall create new technical documents or modify existing technical documents and shall ensure that standards of quality, format, and style are met. He/she will also coordinate large production efforts as necessary.



 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field required. Master’s degree in related field preferred.

· 7 – 10 years of demonstrated experience with technical writing and editing

· Demonstrated experience working with technical security document generation

· Experience managing small or large teams

· Strong conceptual and business analytical skills required – project management skills preferred

· Strong verbal communication skills required

· Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and Visio

· Must be able to obtain a security clearance

· Must be a US citizen
