The Solution Network Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing expert-level technical leadership and assistance for application and technology products supported by the Solution Network. The position will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teams in the configuration,customization, and implementation of selected packages and applications for sales demonstration as well as client-based project implementations.  In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will also require providing assistance to project teams with architecture design, developing documentation, and creating client deliverables.   The ideal candidate will have broad implementation and configuration experience with the Oracle eBusiness Suite, preferably in a management consulting environment.   This position will require 50% travel.   PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS - Extensive experience installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting the Oracle eBusiness Suite, in Unix environments - Solaris, AIX, Linux. - Deep knowledge of advanced application and database administration, ability to analyze information to make recommendations on monitoring and performance,  Oracle DB tuning, SQL tuning, Database migration, Backup and Recovery, RMAN, OEM and SQL/PLSQL, System Administration, Application Administration, CRM Administration and Workflow Administration. - Knowledge of several other Oracle product offerings a plus (Oracle Financial Services Applications, Oracle Financial Analyzer, Oracle Sales Analyzer, Discoverer, etc). - Strong DBA skills with Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g. - Deep knowledge of Oracle iAS. - Firm understanding of at least one Unix shell scripting language. - Experience in managing and supporting production database and application systems. - Experience integrating the eBusiness Suite with other applications a plus. - Strong understanding of software development and implementation methodology is required. - Creative person who has developed innovative approaches to developing solutions. - Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. - Prior consulting experience highly desired. - A minimum of 6-8 years of direct experience is required. - This position requires a minimum of a 4 year University degree.
