Job Overview: Provide product and business process consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate closing sales. Identify specific areas of prospect need and demonstrate how Concur's applications fill those needs. Reports to the Solutions Consulting Manager.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• Deliver product demonstrations for all applications
• Prepare to deliver product demonstrations: meet with prospects to identify their requirements, research their competitive strengths and weaknesses; reconfigure application and/or database as appropriate to best address prospect issues; ensure demonstrations are free of complications and maximize the usefulness of Concur's applications
• Participate with sales team members to identify strategic approach most likely to persuade prospect to buy
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Concur's competitor's products, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, product offerings, etc.
• Provide advice and guidance to other Application Sales Consultants as requested
• Regularly report on progress with each prospect via phone conferences, pipeline reports, etc.
• Build and maintain thorough knowledge of all Concur products, upgrades, upcoming revisions, functionality, etc.
• Provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Product Marketing teams as requested
• Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested
• Interacts with sales, marketing and external customers
• Operates under moderate supervision with reviews of work
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Qualifications:
Education, Experience & Training required:
• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 2 or more years experience in a field relating to Concur's product lines and/or functional financial pre-sales functions (i.e. ERP financials)
• Broad business knowledge: ability to interpret and utilize industry information on competitors
• Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check
