Training Specialist

We are currently seeking a Training Specialist. Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales management and sales staff to understand business needs/objectives and assess learning gaps. Develop and deliver training documents/materials that support the sales training objectives, sales performance management and the LNSS core sales process. Provide training using blended media: classroom, onsite coaching, web casts and e-learning. Collaborate with outside sales partners in the development and deployment of contracted sales support and programming. Track and monitor training effectiveness and manage a consistent, repeatable coaching process. Give direction to the training coordinator in planning, scheduling and facilitation of all training events. Collaborate with field operations to ensure effective completion of forms and overlapping procedures. Collaborate with sales operations to ensure effective implementation of incentive and reward programs as well as management tools. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or a related discipline. Five years sales training experience. Ability to train an audience with a wide range of experience from transactional selling to consultative selling. Experience with a variety of evaluation techniques and methodologies. Experience with conducting gap analyses and needs assessments. Knowledge of sales systems and basic business processes. Knowledge and experience with adult learning theory and its practical application in a business environment. Exceptional service orientation and demonstrated initiative. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills. Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office Suite and a sales account management application. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals.
