Vice President; Life Sciences Practice/Business Consulting

CRA International is seeking a Vice President to join our Life Sciences- Business Consulting practice.

CRA’s Life Sciences-Business Consulting practice advises life sciences clients on global product strategy and a range of other issues, including pricing, contracting, and opportunity assessment. We also advise the agencies that regulate life sciences firms and their legal counsel. Our professionals work to enhance our clients’ competitive strength by using our expertise in economics, finance, management, intellectual property valuation, game theory, and statistics.  CRA’s international expertise enables clients to tailor marketing and reimbursement strategies to particular countries within a unified global framework.

 

We are seeking a Vice President to secure and manage profitable strategy consulting project work. Candidates must have held senior-level executive positions in industry and/or a consulting firm and have proven skills in generating new business, negotiating sales, and mobilizing resources. We are accepting applications for Boston, New York, Washington DC or London offices.

Vice Presidents at CRA are responsible for managing and supervising multiple projects with a high aggregate value and some risk, generating major streams of revenue for the firm, and building successful, long-term client relationships.

 

The Vice President will also be expected to contribute to corporate initiatives and maintain an outstanding level of commitment to the firm and its objectives. We value a strong work ethic, creativity, a positive attitude, a high level of energy, and the ability to relate well to staff members across all levels of the organization.

Additional responsibilities

· Provide leadership for firm-wide initiatives, on committees, and internal projects

· Contribute to practice leadership and corporate management initiatives

· Develop marketing initiatives and knowledge-management plans for the practice

 

 

Qualifications

· Advanced-degree training MBAm PhD in Economics, Medicine, Public Health

· At least 10 years experience in management consulting and/or life science industry

· Successful track record in managing client expectations, ensuring high-quality project results and deliverables, and developing staff

· Demonstrated ability to set leadership standards for industry and functional area knowledge acquisition, dissemination, and organization

  · Familiarity with a professional service culture and ability to relate to people across all levels   of the corporation
