The Production Group Supervisor is responsible for performing duties as directed by the Operations Manger. The Production Group Supervisor is responsible for ensuring key objectives include efficient and productive job performance by subordinates to achieve defined production goals. Assure production schedules are met through coordination of labor, equipment and materials. Other duties may be assigned as required, depending upon the available time, production volume and other criteria as determined by the management of BAE Systems. Full compliance with current and future policies will be required to ensure that your work contribution is in the best interest of BAE Systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRACTICAL FACTORS 1. Maintains and monitors production according to production schedule; 2. Monitor and adjust (if required) production flow to maximize efficiency; 3. Monitor and maintain production requirements by proper alignment of machine to operator use; 4. Monitor and improve quality standards by use of audit sheets; 5. Report and follow-up equipment problems by use of the repair sign-up sheet; 6. Maintain a competent knowledge of all production policies/procedures; 7. Participate in and monitor employee training and evaluations for new and existing employees; 8. Monitor and implement operation sheet procedures; 9. Maintain compliance with all ISO standards and procedures; 10. Promote and maintain open communication between employees and management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMTNS 1. High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent; 2. Documented prior supervisory experience in a sewing or related production work environment; 3. Ability to calculate mathematical figures; 4. Documented work history of utilizing written and communication skills.
