JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the supervision of VersaCare assembly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for controlling and improving safety, quality, efficiency and schedule adherence. Drive Lean Strategy and Daily Continuous Improvement. Understand and assist in preparation of departmental budget. Control expenses within established limits. Establish work teams and facilitate the development of these teams. Ensure that all standards (SOP’s, WI’s, JI’s, etc.) are being followed. Cooperation with other VersaCare staff to ensure effective coordinated management of the production line. Actively support and carry-out Hill-Rom plant safety and work rule policies. Other duties may be assigned.



EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Associate degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience by combination of education and work experience in a specific discipline, process or product. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills. Ability to create an environment of teamwork, a commitment to excellence, and continuous improvement. Support lean manufacturing strategy for continuous flow methods. Continuous Improvement attitude. Strong people skills. Computer software skills Effective Problem Solving Skills Supervisory experience. Hill-Rom product knowledge. Understanding of our scheduling and labor reporting systems. Team implementation skills.

NOTE: This position is 2nd shift, with typical hours of 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
