3rd Shift HR/Associate Relations Coordinator
Support and assist the human resources department with the execution of administrative functional responsibilities and programs that will maintain a positive, union free, work environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Maintain and provide various human resources reporting and tracking systems: status reports, turnover, termination, promotions and others. • Maintain confidential employee records and files as they relate to Human Resources including payroll, benefits workers compensation and others. • Respond to inquiries from candidates for employment regarding available positions, status of application, and other general HR policies (i.e., benefits and payroll) • Coordinate and maintain job posting system. • Perform weekly verifications on all personnel and payroll changes. • Assist associates and management with general questions regarding human resources policies and procedures, such as: medical leaves of absences, direct deposit, claim forms, insurance providers and others. • Facilitate New Employee Orientation and Exit Interviews • Assist with screening employment applications and conducting pre-employment interviews • Handle additional projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor Degree or Certificate in HR Management with 1-3 years progressive HR experience, preferably in a Generalist role. • Working knowledge of current employment laws and other related legislation. • Excellent communication skills; both written and oral. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment. • Strong decision making, problem solving, and judgment skills. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. • Must be able to work flexible hours including the ability to work off shift hours regularly and occasional over-time with little to no notice. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality, convey a professional manner, meet deadlines, function independently and handle multiple priorities.
