This is a direct hire opportunity. Grow your career with Spherion…We are committed to your growth and career development! JOB SUMMARY: The Line Technician will provide technical support for the automation team to which they are assigned and will also have machine operating responsibilities. The Line Technician will participate in all aspect of machine operation and will be the lead on addressing technical issues encountered during production. The line Technician will be responsible for identifying and communicating chronic issues to the area Technician, performing root cause analysis of machine issues and identifying and orchestrating technical training for the Team, and managing the Preventative Maintenance program.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Machine operating responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Clearing Jams (Lock-Out Tag Out Trained)  Material Handling (Filling Hoppers,etc) Meeting all Production Quality Requirements    Station Operations Technical Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Execute and Schedule PM’S Set-Up Changeovers Responsible for technical training of Machine Operators & Responsible for summarizing technical issues to Area Technician Implementation of tasks assigned by Area Technician Overall troubleshooting and repair Assist manufacturing engineers on projects and troubleshooting. Set-up high speed camera    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: -Minimum High School Diploma- Should posses a minimum of 2 years troubleshooting high speed automated systems-Experience in trouble shooting electrical control circuits-PLC Fundamentals-Experience in trouble shooting pneumatic logic-Ability to delegate tasks and work closely in a team environment-Basic understanding of PLC fundamentals-Ability to delegate tasks and work closely in a team environment -Working knowledge of servo systems-Demonstrated mechanical skills-Ability to interpret machine and tooling drawings-Ability to multi taskEEO/AA/ADA If this describes the opportunity you are looking for – We would like to speak with you! For immediate consideration, click on the APPLY NOW button (below) – and you will be connected to our career site where you will complete an online assessment to determine how well you match the qualifications for this and other available positions!
