We are currently searching for a Project Engineer for our client, a global specialty chemicals company with location in Erie, PA.  This position provides relocation and great benefits, room for growth and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from $2-3 million each. 

Job duties: Responsible for efforts in calculation, analysis, cost forecasting and project status review of several projects.  Provide leadership to outside engineering contractors and local engineering department.  Utilize Value-improving practices to optimize project scope and costs.  Maintain SAP project data entries, monitor progress and scheduling and other tools.  Monitor and support construction activities to ensure completion of projects by deadline.  Close projects per guidelines, ensure proper documentation of files, databases and all records associates with projects. 

Requirements:  Bachelors in Engineering discipline, 5-15 years experience in chemicals facility or specialty chemicals related field.  SAP knowledge helpful.  Must have good understanding of best practices for project management.  Excellent communication skill and good work history.
