A/P Clerk/Logistics Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
* Verify the accuracy of PO receipts and resolve problems with purchasing and receiving departments.
* Handle large volumes of phone calls in a timely manner while making accurate and precise decisions
regarding deliveries.
* Schedule the day-to-day movement of freight through interaction of team members and drivers.
* Communicate with customers and sales staffs and meet service and delivery goals by providing
accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load information and other special load
related information.
* Handle routine and special projects that may come up.
* 8a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, but willing to work flexible, and extended hours, if needed.

Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills:
• Candidate should have general accounting experience
• Minimum 2+years of progressively responsible work experience related to the transportation or
construction industry
• Must have excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• Must be a team player
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Attention to detail with ability to stay focused and follow-up independently
