Job Title: ACCOUNT MGR II (Asia) Location: US-NY-Buffalo Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Address: US-NY-Buffalo Reference Code: 12513BR Description:SUMMARY OF POSITION:This position is concerned with the promotion, development and direct sales of Aftermarket products and services in Parts, Repairs, Upgrades and Field Service in assigned areas of the domestic Market. The incumbent will be responsible for initial contact and follow up for sales of all aftermarket products including TA/MSG and Plant Air units in all markets. In this regard, the incumbent must interface with Account Managers (New Unit Sales), Distributors, Market Service Representatives and a variety of customers, as well as Aftermarket personnel. Domestic travel may be required to accomplish the above. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Develop a potential customer list by identifying current customers that have not purchased aftermarket products or have purchased limited quantities of products.2. Make contact with those customers and investigate reasons for lack of activity.3. Determines customers needs for parts, upgrades and service and arrange for the quotation of same.4. Follow up on all outstanding aftermarket quotations to conclusion. If order is lost, determine reason and report.5. Follow up on successful bids, working closely with the appropriate Aftermarket Department to assure customer's expectations are met.6. Work with the appropriate Aftermarket Department and Manager to develop programs or incentives to renew the customer use of Cooper Compression aftermarket products.7. Refer any leads of new equipment to the local Account Manager and Aftermarket department.8. Develop a weekly sales schedule or plan and maintain records of calls made along with actual or lost sales.9. Maintain reasonable spending expenditures within established budget limits.10. Familiarity with aftermarket competition.NATURE AND SCOPE:The incumbent will be responsible for increasing aftermarket product sales in the United States and Canada. The aftermarket products will include, but not be limited to, parts, repairs, upgrades and service. The incumbent must work cooperatively with the local Account Manager (New Unit Sales) and the distributor who may have a responsibility for the account, as well as with Market Service representatives. This position will work in and out of the office, with well-planned trips to customer sites; travel is required. The Account Manager II is expected to operate with a high degree of independence with a working knowledge of computers. Preparing and presenting proposals, and following up with customers will be required. Full knowledge of all aftermarket products and their proper applications. The incumbent will be rated on the incremental aftermarket business obtained. The incumbent will receive a commission for incremental sales that are generated.Qualifications:EXPERIENCE:B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Management preferred, but not required.
