ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

 

 

Culver City based Toy Company is seeking an accounts payable clerk to join our accounting department.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Prepare incoming A/P invoices for payment and allocates cost to appropriate general ledger account, record entries, obtain invoice approvals, enters and maintain invoices in system.

 

Handle vendor calls and research problems

 

Assist with month end closing and reconciliation

 

Process and prepare cash disbursement and on line banking wire transfer.

 

Year end 1099 processing.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Must be detail oriented and well organized to stay current with the daily flow of information.

 

Candidate should have the basic knowledge of general ledgers, coding matching and batching.

 

Excellent written and verbal skills

 

Must work well in a fast paste environment and be a very good team player.

 

Excellent in multi tasking projects, and priority management skills

 

Requirements:

 

Minimums 2 years of experience in accounting

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience in accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Solomon and AS400
