ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

Culver City based Toy Company is seeking an accounts receivable clerk to join our accounting department.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Ensure all accounts receivable transactions are processed in accordance with the company policies.

 

Process the entry of daily deposit activity completed in a timely and accurate manner

 

Interact with accounting team regarding month end processes.

 

Handle customer calls and research problems

 

Prepare charge back/deduction form to customers.

 

Obtain authorizations and settlements for credit card transactions

 

Qualifications:

 

Must be detail oriented and well organized to stay current with the daily flow of information.

 

Candidate should have the basic knowledge of general ledgers, coding matching and batching.

 

Excellent written and verbal skills

 

Must work well in a fast paste environment and be a very good team player.

 

Excellent in multi tasking projects, and priority management skills

 

Requirements:

 

Minimums 2 years of experience in accounting

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience in accounting software, preferably Solomon and AS400
