Account Manager - Value Add

New Process Steel, a Nationwide Steel Service Center/ Value Added Supplier, is in search of a highly motivated, organized individual, with previous Steel Service/Value Added experience for its Texas location.

Must be able to market and create opportunities at new accounts and or markets, and increase profitability at existing accounts.

Develop start-up strategies with sales, purchasing, quality and shipping to insure proper set-up of new accounts

Will work with ISR (Inside Sales Rep) and ISR Manager to maintain proper processed materials in inventory for customer requisition.

Will work with Quality Department to support all efforts in establishing policies at customer facilities.

Key characteristic of an effective Account Manager have been but not mandatory:

· Tool and Die experience both Bench work and design

· Must be able to interpret prints

· Understand process flow and job costing

· Previous experience as Value Added Supplier

· Working knowledge of Steel Processing i.e. Stampings, both progressive and line die, Roll Forming, Transfer Tool, Metal Fabrication

· Great internal and external customer service attitude

· Effective project manager from start to finish

· Must have an established base of stamping business, automotive a plus!!

 

Minimum requirements in Education and / or Experience:

· College degree preferred

· Minimum of 5 years experience in metal stamping or Fabrication industry

· Training in business applications is desirable

· Proficient in Word, Excel and other mainframe applications mandatory
