For more information, visit www.cooperindustries.com Position Summary • Collect, consolidate and analyze financial and statistical data from financial data from financial statements and remote locations, for monthly/quarterly performance, estimate reporting and annual budgeting activities. • Research and interpret unusual expenses and other data. • Verify accuracy of data received and follow-up on incomplete submissions. • Partners with CPS Division and Plant Management personnel to assist with budgeting, forecasting and analysis. Sales and margin analysis by region and product line, along with streamlining of business processes. • Additional responsibilities will include journal data entry, ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. • Effectively communicate, build and maintain solid working relationships with all levels of the Cooper Power Systems organization to provide/receive timely support in the quantification of business variables to improve decision making and increase profitability. • Ensure routine reporting of established performance measurements is communicated to appropriate management. Timely communication to management of quantitative results is required. • Significant future growth opportunities are available for individuals who are top level performers in this role. Position Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and 3-6 years accounting and/or financial analysis experience is required. MBA is a plus but not required. • Finance and/or Accounting experience within a manufacturing organization is a plus. Budgeting and forecasting experience is preferred. Candidates with Public Accounting experience will also be given consideration. • Knowledge of accounting systems, financial procedures and analysis, and a good understanding of general business issues. • Working knowledge of a fully integrated ERP system is desirable, preferably SAP. • Comprehensive knowledge of finance, Financial and Cost Accounting. • Advanced Personal Computer (Word, Excel, etc) skills are a must.
