Accounting Associate

Linear LLC, electronics manufacturer of home automation systems, has an immediate need for an experienced accounting clerk.  The position is responsible to record, classify and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Processes month end reportsInitiates and processes journal entries Provides external auditors with various account analysis’ and spreadsheetsAssists with special projects related to acquisitions, mergers and closures Obtains figures from subsidiaries and accurately enters them into the inter-company reporting spreadsheet as well as reconciliationRuns and balances daily sales and cash figures and distributes sales journals to designated personnelProvides clerical assistance including filing and calling customers when requiredProvides back up support for cash posting and credit memos

 

Requirements:College level accounting classes. A.A. preferred and 2-4 years experience.Above average excel skills10 key by touchAbility to work overtime for month-end closings
