Accounting Clerk - A/P & A/R

Position reports to Corporate Controller and provides accurate and timely processing of accounting and office related duties.

Position Duties:

Processing of Accounts Payable invoices.
Manage allocations of A/P coding to various G/L accounts.
Maintain Vendor files and database of W-9's for reporting purposes.
Maintain current year accounts payable vendor payment files.
Maintain database of vendor invoices where Use Tax payments are required, and reported monthly.
Manage weekly A/P check runs.
Respond to Vendor A/P communications and research A/P vendor statements.
Process cash receipts and data entry of payable invoices and cash receipts.
Other accounting and office duties as assigned.

Position requirements:

1-2 years experience in similar role, with strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, team player, and strong communication skills.  Experience with Excel and Outlook, and ERP software.  Company currently uses Made2Manage accounting software for use in a manuafacturing environment.
