Accounting/Financial Manager

Our Customer, a 300 employee division of a $2.5 Billion manufacturing corporation, is currently seeking to fill the position of Financial Manager.  In partnership with the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will oversee the budgeting and forecasting function of the company, as well as, the implementation of certain strategic initiatives, as defined by the corporate executive team.

 Responsibilities:

 Develop and enhance existing reporting tools and models in order to provide better management information.Responsible for monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Will be a key contributor to monthly operating review calls with the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer.Work closely with business unit managers to improve operating performance based on analysis of business drivers.Review and analyze new business opportunities including due diligence and execution of acquisitions. Act as key liaison between business unit and private equity ownership group.Assist CFO with other finance and accounting duties such as treasury and audit functions.

 Requirements:

 

· BA/MBA, CPA or GE FMP Graduate required with 10+ years experience in a manufacturing

  environment.

·  Strong business, financial and accounting acumen.

·  Highly analytical with strong modeling skills

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills

·  Good time management skills, and capable of handling multiple priorities

·  Good problem solving skill
