We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Drop Ship Associate at our Minneapolis, MN location.



This position encompasses the following :

Complete responsibility for the resolution of Accounts Payable-related invoice payment issues related to assigned Aftermarket Drop Ship suppliers. This includes tactful and clear communication of issues as well as prompt and timely follow up on the resolution of those issues with the various Aftermarket Purchasing functions. Invoice issues may be in US currency as well as foreign currency, and cross-functional. Manage all questions from internal and external customers concerning past due payment status or other vendor concerns. Respond to external inquiries including Audit confirmations, vendor statements, returned checks, etc.

Address all incoming supplier inquiries by identifying and detailing Procurement to Payment issues using Oracle, Copics, and ACS iPS. Extensive knowledge of appropriate ACS iPS and Oracle processes and Drop Ship transaction (Purchasing, Order Entry, Accounting, Receiving) and a thorough understanding of Procure to Pay process requirements for non-Oracle transactions is required to effectively identify and resolve problems.
Process all customer-billed Aftermarket Drop Ship invoices by matching the iPS image to the Drop Ship receiver, noting the billing number in iPS. Contact the appropriate Aftermarket buyer with pricing and quantity discrepancies, and follow up with buyer to help insure timely processing and month end posting of invoices.
Collect and analyze data regarding Drop Ship issues. Report process issues to manager for cross-functional analysis. Participate in cross-functional quality efforts. Respond to all questions and concerns and resolve any issues relating to Accounts Payable policies/procedures.
Work with purchasing personnel on returned merchandise issues supplier credits. Instruct buyers on proper creation of debit memos in iPS as appropriate. Monitor TK credit queues and Debit and Payment Request Personal queues to insure prompt processing of all returns and vendor credits
Respond to external communication regarding Auditors confirmations, vendor statements, and other requests.
Serve as back up for A/P team members as assigned.


Qualifications :

Two Year Associates Degree in Accounting preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
Five years automated AP (with workflow) experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Accounts Payable experience on Oracle preferred with data input and inquiry.
Accounts Payable experience on SAP helpful.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Lotus Notes experience helpful.
Must be detailed oriented.
Must have excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
