Accounts Payable Supervisor

Accounts Payable Supervisor (Direct Hire)Due to an internal promotion, immediate opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor!     My client is a successful and growing manufacturer in Milwaukee.   They offer an outstanding work environment shown by the long tenure of their employees along with very competitive benefits including medical, dental, long term & short term disablity, employee stock ownership plan, 401K, performance cash bonus plan as well as tuition reimbursement.Responsibilities of the working Accounts Payable Manager include: Coordinate all aspects of AP including vouchering, distribution to proper GL accounts, ensuring discounts are taken where needed for both US and international currencies Coordinate cash disbursement procesing including check runs, ACH & wire transfers for both US as well as international currencies Commission processing for domestic and international sales rep Supervise, train and oversee 3 accounting assistants Prepare 1099's Make recommendations to streamline and improve AP department processes

Qualified candidates will have: Minimum of Associate's Degree in Accounting 5+ years experience as Accounts Payable Supervisor managing at least 2 direct reports Experience with foreign currency transactions
